Political Economy of Forest The objective of this research is to understand the interplay among local and global institutions, and how this affect the management and the sustainability of forest resources in Indonesia. This research is part of a 4-country case studies sponsored by the Institutional Dimension on Global Environmental Change Project of the International Human Dimension Program. This research is funded by the Asia Pacific Research Network, on the institutional response to global changes.
